Since Coco Pzazz became ‘accidental chocolate makers’ in 2013, their range of chocolate buttons and bars has constantly evolved.
Carefully sourcing ingredients and packaging, Coco Pzazz launched its Tread Lightly Programme in June 2019, reviewing all aspects of how they work to ensure that they operate in an environmentally sustainable way while also supporting rural cocoa farmers in Ghana – where most of their chocolate is grown. Coco Pzazz has sourced chocolate through the Cocoa Horizons programme for several years and is now working with the Village by Village charity to provide additional support to the rural villages in chocolate growing areas.
They also support Size of Wales – a charity with a goal of protecting an area of tropical forest TWICE the size of Wales (that’s 4 million hectares). Finally, the fabulous flavours are developed by a Government approved women’s enterprise in Kerala, India. Over 80% of the factory workers are women and most come from disadvantaged backgrounds, normally after being deserted or widowed. Women of all ages, castes, and religions are welcome.
